Six months in the making. We have released the next major step in our roadmap and commitment towards making travel even more accessible on mobile devices. Following up on the “Maldives” production release of the desktop version, our website now includes a dedicated mobile front-end.
The team has reimagined how best to serve our customers who are looking for hotels online with a unique experience focused on mobile behaviour. Rather than going down the path of making a responsive site for all devices which is preferred by some in the industry, we want to provide the best possible user experience for mobile users and desktop users without making compromises to suit one or the other.
The new custom-built mobile web experience built in React will optimize the amount of web traffic Travala.com sees coming from smartphones, which is currently at about 55%. We offer the best hotel deals in the industry with savings up to 40%, seamless payments with over 30 different payment methods, AVA rewards and have now made it easier to access our products across all devices.
Juan Otero Travala.com CEO said – “Developed out of a desire to offer the best possible UX to our users anywhere, anytime, the release of this dedicated mobile version of Travala.com supports our vision on the growing importance of mobile when it comes to booking travel.”
Outside of being a travel platform for everyone, Travala.com is a champion of cryptocurrency adoption adding real utility to many different cryptocurrencies by allowing their users to purchase over 2 million hotels and accommodations worldwide. The AVA token is the perfect starting point for the masses to get involved with crypto by providing a fantastic price on travel and tokenized rewards in our native AVA token. A more user-friendly mobile website will only help to further the adoption of AVA and crypto more broadly around the world.
We believe that a product is never complete — there is always something more to be done and we will focus on building and developing our products to a higher level, continually improving and adapting to our users needs. You can find out more of what is coming up by reading our latest roadmap.
We invite old and new users to take a look at the site on their mobile and let us know what they think in our telegram channel.
